About Sunday Street Concerts:

​The Sunday Street Concerts began in 2004 when Charlie Backfish, host of the weekly program Sunday Street (Sunday mornings on WUSB 90.1FM), began presenting concerts with many of the musicians featured on his program. You can expect to see outstanding performances by musicians from all over the world performing in an intimate venue, and it is a favorite of the likes of Eric Andersen, Garland Jeffreys, Iain Matthews, the Kennedys and many more national and internationally touring acts. Most of the concerts are held in the Gillespie Room at The Long Island Museum, 1200 Rte. 25A in Stony Brook, but we occasionally take the show on the road to other venues in the area. GPJAC.org is a proud co-presenter of these exceptional shows.
